The Bodensee Ticket is available as a one-day or three-day ticket. This attractive cross-border ticket allows you to visit the countries bordering Lake Constance: Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

The Bodensee Ticket is a cost-effective way for families, small groups and individuals to discover fresh, new places via public transport while avoiding the hustle and bustle on the roads.

Children aged 6 to 15 years (15.99). Children under the age of 6 travel free.

Small group: one or two adults and zero to four children. Members of a group do not need to be related. A dog can be taken in the place of a maximum of one child. The conditions of the individual transport companies apply when travelling with dogs. Holders of discount cards are not entitled to additional discounts when travelling under small-group prices.

The 3-day ticket is personal; With first name and last name 

Not valid for:

  • Long-distance services in Germany (ICE/IC/EC/RJX/RJ)
  • Catamarans operating between Friedrichshafen and Konstanz
  • Scheduled boat trips

You can receive 25% off the normal price of scheduled boat tickets when you show your valid Bodensee Ticket (except catamarans and private boat tips).

The current exchange rate applies for non-Swiss currency; prices are subject to change.

Dogs
For dogs that require a ticket at half price in accordance with state-specific regulations (small dogs are transported free of charge under certain circumstances in the individual transport networks), the Lake Constance Ticket is issued at the children's price. With the small group offer, a maximum of 1 dog can be taken along instead of a child.


Valid from 10 December 2023. The Bodensee Ticket joint tariff and, unless otherwise specified, the tariffs and conditions of carriage of the participating transport companies apply.

The Bodensee Ticket is only valid for local trains (IRE, RE, RB, S) on railway lines in Germany. Please note that there can be an additional charge for dial-a-bus services and night buses.

The Bodensee Ticket is valid on all trains in Switzerland and Austria (including EC St.Gallen-Bregenz-Lindau).

Don’t forget

Identification
You will need valid identity documents (ID card or passport) to cross the border into another country. This also applies to children.
