Short-distance trips

The price of the bicycle combination ticket is best suited to longer journeys and ferry trips. For short-distance trips, including short-distance cross-border journeys such as Friedrichshafen to Dornbirn, the individual prices in each country are cheaper.

Taking your bicycle on the train

Space for bicycles depends on the available capacity. On individual peak days, there may be shortages at certain times. We thank you for your understanding if this is the case.

Tip: if possible, use more regional trains as capacity on IRE trains (from Basel –) Schaffhausen – Singen – Radolfzell – Friedrichshafen – Ravensburg (to Ulm) is often very limited.
